Social Networking Spamming - a new trend of spamming. Yesterday I blogged on how stop Facebook spam that sends  pops-up chat messages with malicious links and today another spam trick appeared.

This is a wall to wall spamming, the compromised account is sending wall messages about Facebook Sponsored Weight Loss Product. I am very sure that the owner is not the one sending those messages.

As I checked the account of my friend, everyone on his friends list received the spam message.

If you received this kind of messages DO NOT CLICK THE LINK and check your apps list and Delete the said App. Also try to change your password just to make sure.

Battle of Browsers: Chrome vs. Internet Explorer vs. Firefox

Google, Microsoft and Mozilla produced the best stable browsers today. Recently Both IE9 and FireFox 4 has been released. But who is really the best among the rest? As an ordinary user we can't really notice the difference but those guys from CNET did some experiment in an identical environment.

The browsers are tested in their HTML 5 and Javascript performance along with boost times and memory perfomance.

AMD Challenges Nvidia - HD6990 vs GTX590

Few weeks back both AMD and Nvidia released their flagship videocards both claiming to be the fastest video card to date. AMD released their dual-Cayman GPU powered AMD Radeon HD 6990 and Nvidia released the dual-GF110 GPU powered NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 putting current High-End GPU behind.

In a press release issued by Nvidia claiming that the Nvidia GTX 590 is worlds fastest video card, SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - March 24, 2011) - NVIDIA today introduced the GeForce® GTX® 590, the fastest dual graphics card available today which also happens to be the world's quietest too.  AMD took a stand and challenge Nvidia for the claim of who has the fastest. In their official AMD Blog Dave Erskine wrote challenging Nvidia for the claim.

This two mammoth videocards set  new standards and benchmark records in gaming and videocard performance. There is no doubt that competition is intense to both manufacturers and grabbing the spot means more people will choice over the other.  I will follow this challenge closely if Nvidia will react. This gonna be fun weekend.
