Last week Apple's new iPhone has been announced the iPhone 4S. One notable feature of the iPhone 4S is the Siri that allows you to send verbal instruction to your iPhone 4S like  sending SMS, Email, Search, make phone calls and many more.

It's like talking to an A.I, like Tony Stark's Jarvis. Giving instruction on what to do. The first time I saw this demo it is quite catchy and I know that Samsung Galaxy S II has the same feature.

The good guys of Stuff.tv was able to have a demo of the iPhone 4S' Siri at London. Quite impressive I must say. So take a look!

Apple stock jumps thanks to iPhone

Apple Inc, hit another record this first quarter of 2011 thanks to their ever wanted product the iPhone. Apple's reputation soar and one of the sought after technology company in the world.

The company sold 18.65 million iPhones in  this second quarter, the largest number it has sold since the device debuted in middile of 2007. The reason for this increase in sales is because Verizon offers iPhone this year unlike before that it is exclusive to AT&T.

After the stock closed on Wednesday, Apples stock rose to  $351.11 a  2.54% increase or $8.70. Apples' profit increased compared to last year, this quarter the profit is $6 billion compared to more than $3 billion last year. Also the revenue is rising to $24.67 billion from $13.50 billion a year ago.

A very huge smile from Apple's CEO Steve Job, "With quarterly revenue growth of 83% and profit growth of 95%, we’re firing on all cylinders,” who is now on medical leave.

Apple iPad 2 April release is on track

According to Barclays Capital Analyst Ben Reitzes Apple iPad 2 shipment is on track. Having the issues in the design and specification has been settled this month.
This is the response to the report that Taiwan-based security firm asserted that Apple iPad 2 shipment is delayed until June of 2011 due to production bottlenecks.

Apple iPad 2 is now in manufacturing stage

After more than 15 Million units being sold, Apple has been reported on manufacturing the second version of its iPad tablet computer. Known as the iPad 2, the tablet will be powered by a newer processor faster than the first A4 CPU. It has 2 Camera, most like one at the back and one-front facing camera for video conferencing.

According to the Wall Street Journal report, the device is thiner compared to the iPad first generation at 0.5 inch (13.4 mm) thick. The resolution would be the same as the first-gen but with powerful GPU for HD resolution. This is not surprise that the iPad 2 will have more memory and faster processor.

Apple iPad is still the dominant in Tablet PC wars having 75% its share in the market. No release date has been posted yet but according to the report the Hon Hai Precision Industry, known as Foxconn, is assembling the new iPad.

Firefox Announces iPhone App

Mozilla has announced plans to launch a free iPhone Application that will let you access most of your Firefox browser data on the iPhone. Called Firefox Home, the native iPhone app gives you access to your Firefox browser history, bookmarks, and Awesome Bar. Home will also sync any currently open tabs from Firefox on your desktop to the iPhone, giving you "on the go" instant access to important Web pages.

According to the official Mozilla Blog the app will be submitted by June. At that point Apple will either approve or reject it. Firefox Home is designed for iPhone and Ipod Touch. No announcement yet for the iPad.

Firefox Home is not a full pledged browser like Opera Mini or Safari. Apple prohibits third-party applications from including their own rendering engine and JavaScript interpreter, according to Mozilla. Instead, applications must use the iPhone's technology for these processes, which basically means Firefox's underlying technology can't be used on the iPhone. Opera got around this problem by rendering Web pages on its servers and then sending the finished page to the iPhone. cnet

Firefox Home will also be a one-way channel, meaning you can send your desktop browsing information to your iPhone, but you will not be able to send data from your iPhone to desktop versions of Firefox.

One solution to the one-way data problem would be to build a JavaScript bookmarklet for Safari for iPhone that would let you sync your iPhone browsing data with Firefox; however, Mozilla says it has no plans to do this at the moment.
